Gigabyte realtek hd audio eq8/18/2023 ![]() Please advise on the correct driver which I should install. So I remove this driver and reverted to the one from the Gigabyte site and now in Task Manager > Startup I'm only seeing Realtek HD Audio Universal Service. GIGABYTE X299X DESIGNARE 10G Memory Corsair 64 GB (4 x 16 GB. Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 + RealTek Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell laptop display 15' Screen Resolution 1920 1080 Hard Drives. While trying to fix the equalizer the console stopped working. Also I was getting an error message on boot. When I installed it I lost the equalizer in the Realtek Audio Console. After the system rebooted I was seeing the Audio Manager in Task Manager > Sartup, however I was not able to launch it - with admin rights and compatibility. I disconnected the PC from the Internet and removed the driver from Device Manager, restarted the PC and installed the ALC codec. ![]() I navigated to your website and from Menu > Downloads > Peripherals I was that there is no SW for ALC1220, so I downloaded one on random to see if it will work. I downloaded the audio driver from the Gigabyte site and the driver itself works just fine, however no Audio Manager is installed. ![]() The whole purpose of Gigabyte disabling your equalizer and environment in the Realtek Audio Console is that they don't want you to accidentally enabling 2 equalizers at the same time (Realtek Audio Console and DTS:X Ultra app) - and ruin your sound by mistake. I just completed a B450 AORUS PRO build, which incorporates the ALC1220-VB codec, however under fresh install of windows I'm not able to start the Realtek Audio Manager HD. Your motherboard comes with DTS:X Ultra app - which is where you will get your equalizer and environment.
